MTV Movie Awards:
Disc 1: The MTV Movie Awards Council of Elrond skit can be accessed by highlighting chapter 27 in the "Scene Selection" menu, and arrowing down once.Disc 2: The MTV Movie Awards Council of Elrond skit is also accessible by highlighting the 48 on the right side of the last selection screen.*Note: This egg is available on all Region 2 DVD's except the UK edition.
Preview:
On disc two of the 4-disc set, go to the main menu, then highlight the chapter / scene selection option. Select chapter 48. A screen will show up with "Fan club credits" in the center, and a column of chapters on the right. Go to 48, and move the cursor down from there. An image of two towers will appear. Click on that for the four minute "Two Towers" preview shown at the end of "Fellowship's" theatrical release in early 2002.
DVD Credits:
This disc also has a hidden credits feature which you can access on the main menu of disc 1. Go to "Play Movie" then press your Up button to highlight the "New Line Cinema" logo. Push enter to see the names of all the people who worked on the disc.
